Los Angeles, 10 February 2023 (GNP): Elon Musk made fun of Sam Smith’s much-discussed appearance as the devil during their Grammys performance with Kim Petras.
Elon Musk wrote: “End of days vibes” in response to a video of Smith and Kim Petras performing their Grammy-winning hit ‘Unholy’ live at the Grammys on Sunday night.
He continued writing, “If that’s Satan, we have nothing to worry about,” in a tweet.
The US singer, Sam Smith performed while wearing a red latex outfit and a top hat with devil horns, portraying Satan in a cartoonish manner. Smith was surrounded by red-robed worshippers.
Conservative leaders including Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, Donald Trump Jr., and Fox News host Tucker Carlson have paid close attention to Smith’s performance.
Taylor Greene promoted unfounded conspiracies about Pfizer’s support of the Grammys in a tweet. One of the many sponsors for the event was Pfizer.
Taylor Greene wrote in a tweet: “Sam Smith gave a devilish performance at the Grammys, which were sponsored by Pfizer. American Christians need to get to work.” She wrote this after sharing a conspiracy theory involving an abortion clinic in New Mexico.
