Toronto, 28 December 2022 (GNP): Elon Musk, the owner and founder of Tesla and SpaceX, bought Twitter a few months ago and declared himself the CEO.
He then posted a poll on his Twitter account asking if he should step down, to which people voted for him to do so. Since then, he has been finding a replacement for his position.
In a video, he announced: “I am resigning as CEO of Twitter.” He even tweeted – ‘I will resign as CEO as soon as I find someone foolish enough to take the job! After that, I will just run the software & servers teams.’
Elon Musk may be stepping aside to concentrate on his other projects because Tesla and closely connected enterprises have always been his top priorities.

However, the issue is, if not him, who will take over as CEO? According to rumours, the hunt for a new Twitter CEO began a few days ago.
The individuals assisting Elon Musk in running Twitter since the takeover are the most probable contenders to succeed him.
Jason Calacanis, an investor and entrepreneur; David Sacks— an investor; and Sriram Krishnan—a partner at Andreessen Horowitz and a former team leader at Microsoft, Twitter, Yahoo!, Facebook, and Snap—are some of the contenders.
