Ankara, 21 October 2021 (GNP/TDI): Pakistani embassy in Turkey’s capital celebrated Eid Milad-un-Nabi, the birthday of Islam’s Prophet Muhammad, on Tuesday evening. The event was held at Ankara’s Pakistan Embassy International Study Group (PEISG).

Members of the Pakistani community, instructors, students, and embassy officials attended the completely English-medium international school. Muslims across the globe commemorate Eid-Milad-un-Nabi on the 12th day of Rabbi ul Awal.

This is in the third month of the Islamic calendar, to pay tribute and reverence to the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) on his birthday.

Pakistan’s Ambassador to Turkey, Muhammad Syrus Sajjad Qazi, stated that “we should emulate the Holy Prophet’s whole life. We may attain prosperity in this world and the next by following Prophet Muhammad’s teachings”.

These are tolerance, peace, compassion, persistence, humility, honesty, and charity, according to Qazi. He stressed that mankind may attain redemption and overcome today’s problems by following Prophet Muhammad’s teachings in their entirety.
