Dhaka Court convicted a cleric for anti-COVID speeches

Ibrahim Kazmi, a well known cleric and preacher of Dhaka was convicted by the Court for spreading disinformation against COVID vaccines in masses

Dhaka, 18 January 2023 (GNP):  Ibrahim Kazmi, 62, a religious preacher and cleric in central Dhaka, was convicted by a local court for spreading disinformation about the vaccination of Coronavirus. The convicted cleric accused Israel of spreading this virus and using COVID vaccines to spy on the world population.

When the deadly pandemic was at its peak, many of his sermons went viral on social media, including one in which he claimed that he had discovered a mathematical formula for making a homemade vaccine for this pandemic.

The convicted preacher and cleric, Ibrahim Kazmi, was arrested by Bangladesh’s police under the Digital Security Act of the country for religious incitement in 2021.

When Bangladesh’s health workers were fighting the pandemic on the frontline, the convicted cleric, in his public comments and sermons, called this devil’s plan for spying on the world population.

He would refer to the remarks of former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro that women would have beards and men would become effeminate after vaccination for COVID -19.

Ibrahim Kazmi also accused Bill Gates and his Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation of colluding with Israel to spread this coronavirus and then inserting chips into the human population for social controlling and manipulating them.
