Islamabad, 26 February 2023 (GNP): This year, COMSTECH is accepting nominations for COMSTECH Awards in nine categories. Scientists and researchers who are nationals of OIC member countries and are presently working in such countries are eligible to submit nominations for these prizes by March 31, 2023.
COMSTECH invites applications for the Lifetime Achievement Award in Physics and Mathematics, as well as the Excellence in Science & Technology Award, which consists the Young Researcher Award, the Best Scientific Book Award, the Best Patent Award, and the Best Research Paper Award in biology, chemistry, mathematics, and physics.
Via its distinguished prizes, COMSTECH acknowledges exceptional scientific work carried out by scientists working and residing in OIC member nations. Each award comes with a certificate, a shield of honour, and a monetary prize. The President of Pakistan bestows the honour on the recipients of the basic sciences award.

Nominations for the COMSTECH Awards 2023 are being sought from science academies, national research councils, universities, research institutes, and globally renowned scientists who are citizens of and work in OIC member countries. Nominations will be assessed by committees of eminent scientists/experts in relevant fields chosen by the COMSTECH Coordinator General.
The applicant must submit a signed cover letter as well as softcopies of the required nomination papers to the COMSTECH Secretariat. Nominations should include a detailed description of the contributions made in the field for which the prize is being awarded. Nominations must be submitted in English, and English translations of supporting papers must be supplied together with the following materials.
