7th April 2020 (GNP): Chinese experts are training Pakistani medics on COVID-19 case detection, prevention and clinical management at the King Edward Medical University. The team is trained under the supervision of Yasmin Rashid, the Punjab health minister.
The Punjab Health Minister expressed her gratitude to the Chinese government for their assistance and experts in Pakistan.
She asserted the importance of doctors learning from each other’s experiences and also welcomed the Chinese medics in Pakistan. She highlighted the efforts made by Pakistan against the fight of coronavirus under the leadership of Prime minster Khan (GNP).
