BTS concert film to screen in Pakistan cinemas

K-pop sensation, BTS will screen in Pakistan cinemas with their concert film 'BTS: Yet To Come In Busan' next month.

Islamabad, 12 January 2023 (GNP): Cinepax, a cinema chain in Pakistan, took to its social media account on December 4, shared the poster of BTS’s historic concert ‘BTS: Yet To Come In Busan’. The movie version of the concert will be released on February 1, 2023.

Cinepax on its Instagram account, added a simple question to their post, revealing no further details about the film. “Are you ready to witness?”, the caption read while inciting more excitement amongst the BTS fans in Pakistan.

The cinema chain also retweeted a schedule by BTS that revealed booking for the tickets will officially open on January 11, twenty one days before its airing. Cineplex has yet to disclose when the tickets will be available for sale.

The two-hour-long film is said to be a special cinematic cut that has been re-edited and remixed for the big screen. It will feature the group members RM, Jimin, Jungkook, V, Suga, Jin and J-hope at their concert Yet to Come in Busan which was held on October 15 2022 to support South Korea’s bid to host World Expo in 2030.

Apart from being insanely popular internationally, BTS also has a massive fan following in Pakistan. Last year, Pakistani fans of the group booked digital billboards in Bahawalpur and Multan with birthday wishes for Jungkook and set up a medical camp in the member’s name.
