Under the former government of PTI, British Airways and Virgin Atlantic commenced their flights from Pakistan, which facilitated passengers to take direct flights to London from Pakistan. As a result of the suspension, there will be no direct flights from London to Lahore, and there were already no direct flights between Karachi and London.
Virgin Atlantic’s London Heathrow-Lahore service will terminate at the beginning of May, while its London-Islamabad flight will be concluded on July 9.
