Ben Stokes is set to be missing when England announce their squad for this year’s T-20 World Cup campaign on Thursday.
The 30Year old all-rounder was the star when they had won the 50-over World Cup in 2019. He was still central to the goal of uniting the title in the United Arab Emirates this October.
The all-rounder is currently taking a break from cricket in order to priorities his mental health.
There were some people, who were talking to Stokes against me and that’s why I could not speak to him, but we would meet soon, said, England’s head coach, Chris Silver wood.
But I would not pressurize him, whatever support, he needs, would give him, Silver Wood added.
First of all, I have to clarify that he is okay, Silver wood.
Stokes is an excellent all-rounder and game-changer at any time. He had scored the century against Pakistan for just 42 deliveries. England’s Team would be suffering due to the absence of a great all-rounder in the T-20 World Cup but in the Ashes series as well.
