Kathmandu, 6 October 2021 (TDI): The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Narayan Khadka welcomed the Ambassador of Bangladesh to Nepal, Salauddin Noman Chowdhury in his office, on 6 October 2021.
In the meeting, important matters of common interest were discussed. The Foreign Minister Khadka and Ambassador Noman agreed to work for the better future of the region. Along with enhancing collaboration and partnership between Nepal and Bangladesh. Both countries have been enjoying cordial relations since 1972.
Both states enjoy excellent bilateral relations upon the principles of mutual cooperation and comprehensive understanding. Nepal and Bangladesh work diligently on the matters of bilateral trade and support each other at regional and international fora. The countries aspire to extend bilateral trade, connectivity and improve transit facilities and investment among each other.
