Balochistan shocked with two earthquakes within an hour

Quetta, 19 March, 2024 (GNP): Two intermediate level earthquakes endure in Balochistan early morning on Tuesday.

The first earthquake vibrating felt in Quetta and it’s surroundings around 5:35 am, according to national seismic monitoring centre Islamabad.

The quakes  were also felt in the Pakistan-Afghan border areas, including Chagi, Chaman, Nushki, Qilla Abdullah, Dalbandin, Pishin and other surrounding towns.

The national quake monitoring body, the magnitude of the earthquake was recorded at 5.4 on the Richter Scale, while its depth was 35 kilometres.

The centre of earthquake was 150km southwest to Quetta, after some time the same area was shocked by an other earthquake at 6:24am.

The magnitude of that earthquake was recorded at 4.5 on the Richter Scale, while its depth was 136kilo meter.

The centre of earthquake was 120km southwest of Quetta. There were not any casualties in either of the earthquakes.
