15th April 2020 (GNP): According to the embassy of Azerbaijan, the monthly consumption limit of electricity has been increased in April according to Head of the Information Technologies Department of Azerishig OJSC Galib Hamidov.
He further said that the limit of electricity consumed by citizens will be raised by 100-kilowatt hours from April until May 2020. According to the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, the limit of energy consumption at the preferential rate was raised from 300-kilowatt hours to 400-kilowatt hours.
They further instructed to not confuse the payment of the electricity because receipts for payments in April were estimated for March. Therefore, the receipts at the start of April indicate a limit of 300-kilowatt hours. In May and June, the limit will be 400-kilowatt hours (GNP).
