Astana international forum 2024: Uniting nations for a better world

Astana, 13 February, 2024 (GNP): The Astana International Forum (AIF) returns for its second annual gathering under the auspices of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, scheduled to take place on June 13th and 14th, 2024, in Astana, Kazakhstan.

As Central Asia’s premier international conference, AIF aims to foster cross-border diplomacy and collaboration, providing a platform for global leaders to address pressing issues facing our world today.

Building on the success of its inaugural edition in 2023, which saw over 5,000 participants from more than 50 countries, including heads of state, policymakers, business leaders, and intellectuals, AIF 2024 promises to further the legacy of multilateralism and bilateral partnerships.

The forum’s agenda will encompass four key pillars:

  1. Foreign Policy and International Security
  2. International Development and Sustainability
  3. Energy and Climate Change
  4. Economy and Finance

Through engaging panel sessions, armchair discussions, and networking opportunities, delegates will explore actionable solutions to global challenges, reaffirming their commitment to cooperation and mutual respect.

Kazakhstan’s strategic position as a bridge between East and West underscores its role in facilitating crucial discussions. As the country assumes chairmanship of several international organizations, including the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the Organisation of Turkic States, AIF 2024 marks an important milestone on the world stage.
