11th April 2020 (GNP): A video summit of Turkic Council was held on the 10th of April to discuss corporation and solidarity in the fight of COVID-19 pandemic. The summit was initiated by the president of the Republic of Azerbaijan, H.E. Ilham Aliyev. Leaders that will be attended the summit were H.E. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, H.E. Sooronbai Zheenbekov, President of the Kyrgyz Republic including other countries.
The Director-General of the World Health Organization, Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, also joined the video conference and showed his gratitude to be a part of the conference with other leaders (GNP).
