Theft at Muhammad Hafeez’s House

Police lodged a theft case on the complaint of Hafeez’s uncle Shahid Iqbal.

Lahore, 8 March 2023 (GNP): Thieves stole cash, including foreign currency, and other belongings from cricketer Mohammad Hafeez’s DHA residence.

On the complaint of Hafeez’s uncle Shahid Iqbal, police filed a robbery case.

The incident happened when the family was in Islamabad and the house was completely locked in from the inside, the robbers allegedly broke the iron grills with cutters to access to the residence through the boundary wall.

According to a first information report (FIR), the robbers have stolen $20,000, £4,000, €3,000, and AED5,000.

Muhammad Hafeez is currently playing Pakistan Super League (PSL 8) and he was in Rawalpindi yesterday, with his team Quetta Gladiators.

A case has been filed by the defense police against unnamed suspects.
