Islamabad,2 May, 2024(GNP): President Asif Zardari has officially announced his resignation as President of the Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians (PPPP). This decision comes after careful contemplation and with the respect for the party and its members.
President Zardari, in his statement, expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve as the President of PPPP.
He highlighted the achievements and milestones accomplished during his tenure, highlighted the party’s dedication to democratic principles and social justice.
“I have had the entitlement to lead PPPP during a critical period in our nation’s history. I am enormously proud of the progress we have made and the values we have upheld. However, I believe it is time for new leadership to take the command and guide the party forward,” President Asif Zardari stated.
