PM approved program for youth, women and farmers in budget 2023-4

Budget 2023-24 will be a game changer for youth, women and farmers.

 

Islamabad, 9th June, 2023 (GNP): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday approved the addition of a “revolutionary programme” in the forthcoming budget 2023-24 for the enlightenment of youth, women and farmers.

Premier approved the establishment of Pakistan Endowment Fund similar to the framework of Punjab Endowment Fund.

In accordance with the Prime Minister’s order, the funds have been assigned in the coming budget for the youth, women welfare projects, and tube wells for farmers.

As per the statement given by the PM’s office, “In the next fiscal year, the youth would be provided interest free loans and an endowment fund would be established for education and sports.”
Sharif has given consent to the establishment of “Pakistan Endowment Fund for Education” on the pattern of “Punjab Endowment Fund.”

Under the umbrella of this revolutionary plan, the brilliant unprivileged students from across the country would be provided educational scholarships.

In accordance with the PM’s advice, the funds have been allocated to grant skill training to the youth in information technology. The upcoming budget would also have funds for distribution of 100,000 laptops among youth.

The government has made budgetary allowance for promotion of sports activities amidst the youth and to uplift their participation. The next budget will also characterize the funds implementation for a project to acquire the economic empowerment of women.

The Prime Minister also accepted a program based upon the utilization of solar heat for agriculture tube wells which will be carried out in the upcoming phase of “Prime Minister’s Kissan Package.”
