Doha, 15 December 2022 (GNP): The football team of Morocco offered “prostration of thanks on the ground” for reaching in the semi-final of the FIFA World Cup. The prostration image immediately gained popularity online.
In the semifinal of the FIFA world cup, France won the game over Morocco and qualified for the final. France will play a match with Argentina on Sunday.
Morocco is the first African and Arab country that reach the semifinals. So, Morocco made history in the FIFA World Cup. It is important to note that Morocco was not only getting support from Africans and Arabs but also from the Muslim world.

The Moroccan team created history by being the first African and Arab nation to advance this far in a World Cup in the 92-year history of the competition after defeating Portugal.
Earlier, the team was seen asking the public and their supporters to convert to Islam after their triumph against Spain to go to the World Cup quarterfinals.
Zakaria Aboukhal and Abdelhamid Sabiri, two players, reportedly went back to their hotel after the game against Spain and streamed a live video encouraging the audience to convert to Islam.

Muslims and Africans flocked to the stadium to cheer on the Moroccan team. After losing the match, the team made a bow to Allah with a head held high in honor of all Muslims worldwide.
