Washington DC, 4 January 2022 (GNP): Ken Block, a professional rally racer, died at age 55 on Monday, January 1, 2023, in a snowmobile accident near his home in Utah.
Ken Block was riding a snowmobile up a steep slope in Wasatch County, Utah, when the vehicle upended, landing on top of him, causing him to die on the spot.
He was signed with Hoonigan Racing Division, a racing company. His company confirmed the racer’s death in an official statement posted on its social media platforms:
“It’s with deepest regrets that we can confirm that Ken Block passed away in a snowmobile accident today. Ken was a visionary, a pioneer and an icon. And most importantly, a father and husband. He will be incredibly missed.”
