Lahore (GNP) :- Lahore Arts Council, Alhamra, held a meeting of its Departmental Promotion Committee to review promotion cases of officers and staff, reaffirming its focus on merit and institutional excellence. Executive Director Alhamra Muhammad Nawaz Gondal chaired the session.
Deputy Director Admin Umair Hassan, Curator Hajra Mehmood, Auditor and Accounts Officer Mohib Shamsi, and other members attended the meeting. Promotion cases were assessed based on performance, service record, and eligibility, resulting in important decisions aligned with policy.
Executive Director Muhammad Nawaz Gondal stated that promotions are a recognition of employees’ dedication and capability, and play a key role in boosting morale and ensuring transparency within the organization. He announced that the committee will meet every six months to ensure timely consideration of eligible employees.
He further directed that those officers requiring training for promotion be nominated to the Management and Professional Development Department (MPDD) without delay.
The meeting concluded with a reaffirmation of Alhamra’s commitment to a fair, transparent, and merit-driven promotion system.
