Afghan Taliban’s shelling on Pakistan border
Afghan Taliban opened fire on the Chaman Spin-Boldak crossing, killing one civilian.

Islamabad, 15 December 2022 (GNP): Again, within a week, the clashes between Pakistan security forces and the Taliban of Afghanistan erupted in the border town of Chaman Spin-Boldak, a town in the Pakistan province of Balochistan.
Earlier this week, the two sides cashed deadly in which 7 Pakistani civilians were killed and 16 injured.
On Thursday morning Afghan Taliban opened fire on the Chaman Spin-Boldak crossing, killing one civilian.
None of the spokespersons of the two sides were available to comment on the actual nature of today’s incident.
The Pakistan military says that the Taliban deliberately opened fire on the Pakistani security posts, killing one person.
Pakistani health officials declared a state of emergency in the border town in the wake of this recent clash.
A Pakistani health official told the media that 12 Injured persons were brought to the hospital of this border town, of whom several were in very critical condition. One Injured man succumbed to injuries.
This recent new clash on Thursday morning would further strain the relations between the two neighboring countries. Pakistan’s government blames Afghan Taliban for harboring safe havens for the militants operating in Pakistan.
