London, 30 May, 2023 (GNP): Abrarul Haq, renowned singer, and former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) member, has apologized for attending the concert in London days after quitting politics and said he should not be in London if Pakistanis are not happy.
Abrarul Haq was invited to London for a performance at a concert planned to raise awareness of a housing society owned by a Pakistani business tycoon.
The artist showed up in London as per schedule, performed his well-known songs, and attracted a large audience. However, PTI members surrounded Abrarul Haq during a media interview after the concert.
When the argument turned physical between Abrarul Haq and PTI members, his guards and the authorities called the police to settle the commotion.
Later, the London police created a safe zone around Abrar’s car and guided it back there.

Social media is flooded with videos of the incident, in which Abrar is seen performing and afterward conversing with the journalists.
In a recent press conference, he stated that the program had been fixed months before he left PTI.
When questioned by the media, Abrar responded that he had chosen to separate himself from politics voluntarily and that he had not been under any pressure.
Renowned singer apologized for hurting anyone’s feelings by mistake.
Abrarul Haq claimed to have enjoyed his stay in PTI for about 13–14 years and once more resisted being forced to leave the party.
He remarked that he had a constitutional right to participate in politics and that he might do so in the future.
