Islamabad : Federal Minister for Climate Change and Environmental Coordination, Dr. Musadik Malik, held a meeting with Mr. Jawed Ali Khan, Senior Advisor UN-Habitat, to discuss matters related to sustainable urban development.
The discussion focused on the pressing challenges of urbanization and the need for innovative, climate-resilient, and inclusive urban planning. Both sides underscored the importance of coordinated efforts to ensure environmentally responsible urban growth across Pakistan.
It was mutually agreed to develop a comprehensive National Urban Development Strategy to provide a unified framework for sustainable urban transformation at the national level.
