Quetta : An All Parties Conference was convened at the central secretariat of Pashtoonkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) under the chairmanship of Senator Jan Muhammad Buledi, former Secretary General and Parliamentary Leader of the National Party. The meeting was attended by senior representatives of PkMAP, BNP, ANP, National Party, PTI, Majlis Wahdat-ul-Muslimeen, Jamaat-e-Islami, and other political and social organizations. Prominent jurist Senator Kamran Murtaza Advocate was also present.
The participants strongly condemned the terrorist attack of 2 September 2025, carried out during the fourth death anniversary gathering of Sardar Attaullah Khan Mengal, which claimed the lives of 14 political workers and left more than 40 injured. They described the attack as a deliberate attempt to undermine the democratic and political struggle of the Baloch and Pashtoon people by targeting their leadership.
The conference affirmed that all preparations have been completed for a province-wide peaceful wheel-jam and shutter-down strike on Monday, 8 September 2025. Political and democratic forces across Balochistan, along with traders, transporters, student bodies, and civil society, have pledged their full support for the protest. The leaders emphasized that this peaceful demonstration will not be allowed to be sabotaged by any party.
The meeting called upon all segments of society, including transporters, traders, government and private employees, students, and citizens at large, to fully cooperate in ensuring the success of the strike. It was stressed that this protest should serve as a collective and peaceful expression of solidarity against terrorism and in defense of democratic values.
