Speaker National Assembly Pays Tribute to Pakistan Navy

Islamabad, Speaker National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq paid heartfelt tribute to the officers and personnel of the Pakistan Navy on Navy Day, honoring their courage, bravery, and sacrifices in the defense of the nation.

Speaker NA stated that during the 1965 war, the Pakistan Navy demonstrated exceptional professionalism and valor by delivering a decisive blow to the enemy, thereby reinforcing the nation’s defense and making it invincible.

While highlighting the significance of Operation Dwarka Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said the successful destruction of the enemy’s radar system during this operation thwarted their malicious intentions, underscoring the fact that Pakistan’s maritime borders are in safe and capable hands. He stated that the country’s armed forces remain ever-ready to defend the homeland against any threat.

Speaker NA also made special mention of the historic role played by the Submarine “Ghazi”, stating that it restricted enemy movements in the Indian Ocean and disrupted their naval plans, thus establishing dominance in the region. Submarine Ghazi, he said, continues to be a glowing symbol of bravery, determination, and professional excellence for the nation’s armed forces.

Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq further stated that Navy Day serves as a solemn reminder of the sacrifices made by those valiant individuals who laid down their lives in defense of the motherland. He said that the Pakistan Navy not only safeguards the maritime frontiers but also plays a proactive role in disaster relief operations and public service, contributing meaningfully to national development and progress.

Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq also offered prayers for the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs and for the continued success and glory of Pakistan’s armed forces.
