New York, 5 October 2021 (GNP/TDI): The Foreign Minister of Tajikistan, Sirojiddin Muhriddin had meetings with UN Secretary-General and UNDP Administrator. First of all, he met with the UN Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres.

The parties discussed issues of cooperation between Tajikistan and the UN. They discussed the political, socio-economic, humanitarian, and security aspects. Also, they discussed wide issues. It includes the joint fight against terrorism and extremism. The socio-economic consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic along with climate change were also discussed.
