Islamabad, 5 October 2021 (GNP/TDI): Pakistan has decided to provide Afghanistan with eight more trucks filled with humanitarian aid.

Landi Kotal Assistant Commissioner, Akber Iftikhar handed over the supplies to the in-charge of the Torkham border crossing. The trucks comprised of flour, rice, and pulses. Afghans expressed gratitude for the assistance and hoped for improved cooperation in the future. Earlier, the Pak-Afghan Cooperation Forum had also delivered four trucks carrying 70 tons of humanitarian aid for Afghans.

Apart from sending aid, Prime Minister Imran Khan and other government officials have repeatedly pushed the international community. In order to engage with the Taliban-led government to avoid a humanitarian crisis.
