
ISLAMABAD :- The Vietnamese Embassy in Singapore has held a ceremony to mark the 80th anniversary of Vietnam’s National Day.
The national day ceremony brought together around 500 distinguished guests, including Government officials, members of the diplomatic corps, scholars, business leaders, Media, and representatives of the Vietnamese community in Islamabad.
In his opening remarks, Vietnamese Ambassador to Pakistan, Pham Anh Tuan highlighted Vietnam’s remarkable achievements in national building and development since President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence on September 2, 1945, affirming universal values of freedom, dignity, and self-determination.

Ambassador Pham, stressed Vietnam’s major goals of becoming a developing country with modern industry in near future. The diplomat underscored the importance of partnerships in this journey, emphasising that one of Vietnam’s most enduring and dynamic partnerships is with Pakistan.
Ambassador expanding cooperation in economy, trade and human resource development, and with the close ties between the two countries’ leaders, he expressed confidence that Vietnam and Pakistan will move forward together toward a shared future of peace, innovation, and prosperity.

Bilal Azhar Kayani State Minister for Finance, attended the Vietnam National Day ceremony as the chief guest.
In his address, he highlighted the strong Pakistan-Vietnam bilateral relations and stressed the need to further enhance economic cooperation across all key sectors for future growth.

The ceremony also featured a documentary highlighting milestones in Vietnam’s 80 years of development and achievements in Vietnam.
Guests enjoyed an elegant ao dai, show by both professional and amateur models, as well as captivating performances by Vietnamese performance, which left a strong impression on the audience. Vietnamese cuisine added to the cultural experience, delighting many guests with its flavours and diversity.
