Sunbeams & Broadway Pizza Celebrate Pakistan’s 78th Independence Day with “Pizza for a Cause”
Islamabad — In the soft glow of green flags waving across the city, a group of people gathered not just to celebrate Pakistan’s 78th birthday, but to imagine the Pakistan of tomorrow. The event, held on August 14, was a heartfelt gathering of donors, supporters, and friends, blending the joy of Pakistan’s 78th birthday with a powerful mission: building a Pakistan where every child can read, write, and thrive.
The informal, fun-filled event provided an opportunity for guests to connect with the Sunbeams team, witness the impact of their work, and learn about the PK100 Movement — Sunbeams’ ambitious drive to achieve 100% literacy in Pakistan by its 100th Independence Day in 2047.
