
Islamabad : Sadia lifted Deaf Women titles of Azadi Cup Tenpin Bowling Championship at Leisure City Bowling Club, F-7, while Tehmina and Zoya bagged 2nd and 3rd position, respectively.
The colourful opening ceremony was inaugurated by Federal Secretary, Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination(IPC), Mohyuddin Wani, who said that this is a unique event and such healthy activities are extremely important for the promotion of sports.
President, Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Federation, Ijaz Ur Rehman, and Ex-Secretary General, Muhammad Hussain Chattha, were also present on the occasion.
The deaf women competitions was held, in the inaugural day, Sadia got first position with 102 points. Tehmina received 2nd with 87 points and Zoya obtained 3rd position with 82 points while Asma secured 4th position with 76 points.
The Championship features participation from male and female players from across the country, with competitions in nine categories: Men’s Singles, Men’s Doubles, Ladies’ Singles, Amateur, Deaf Men’s Singles, Deaf Ladies’ Singles, Team Event, Media, and TikTokers.

The final matches will be played on August 14, followed by a prize distribution ceremony for the winners.
