London : The Additional Foreign Secretary for Arms Control, Disarmament, and International Security (ACDIS) at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Islamabad, Ambassador Tahir Andrabi met with the Director of Defence and International Security of the UK, Ambassador Stephen Lillie today in London to hold the 7th Round of Pakistan, UK Dialogue on Arms Control, Disarmament and Non Proliferation.
Productive discussions were held on global & regional peace, security, strategic stability — including developments in the wake of Pakistan-India standoff.
Consultations covered key disarmament & non-proliferation issues: UN, CD, BWC, CWC/OPCW, Export Controls, Emerging Technologies & peaceful uses of nuclear tech.
Bilateral dialogue remains an important platform to deepen mutual understanding, strengthen multilateral coordination & promote international peace & security.
