4 April 2020 (GNP) : Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, the Director-General of the World Health Organization has stated that to decrease the restrictions and impact on the economy, countries should attack the virus by taking concrete measures. Countries should find and treat each person infected with the virus and take measures to prevent its spread.
The statement was in agreement with the response of the World Health Organization on countries lifting the restriction on lockdowns. WHO asserted that lifting restrictions earlier can give the virus a chance to attack again and would make economic impact worst. Backing the health response is a measure not to just save lives but also to control the impact on the economy as well. (GNP)
