Minister Climate condemns Margalla deer killing, orders inquiry

Islamabad: A video has been circulating on media of a deer being put down in the Margalla Hills.The Federal Minister for Climate Change and Environmental Coordination Dr. Musadik Malik has taken notice of the incident and has strongly condemned the hunting and killing of wildlife in protected areas.

The concerned authorities have been directed to conduct an inquiry into the incident and submit a report at the earliest.

The Minister has emphasized that such acts of cruelty and disregard for conservation laws are unacceptable and will not be tolerated.
