Islamabad Lawyer receives Award from Pakistan Ambassador in Malaysia for Legal Excellence

Islamabad: — Asad Ullah Taimur, a prominent and well-respected lawyer based in Islamabad, has been honored with a prestigious award by His Excellency, the Ambassador of Pakistan to Malaysia, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the legal profession and public service.
With over ten years of legal practice in Islamabad, Mr. Taimur has established himself as a leading expert in corporate, tax, and constitutional law. He is the founder and managing partner of Asad Taimur & Co., a law firm known for handling complex and high-profile cases with professionalism and integrity.
Mr. Taimur is currently representing over 6,500 employees of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) in Writ Petition No. 3426/2019, a landmark case pending before the Islamabad High Court. The case pertains to the long-delayed allotment of residential plots to CDA employees and is considered one of the most significant service-related cases in recent years.
The award ceremony, held at the Pakistan Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, celebrated Mr. Taimur’s unwavering dedication to justice, his legal acumen, and his contributions to the rights of public sector employees in Pakistan. Speaking at the event, the Ambassador commended Mr. Taimur for his “unparalleled commitment to legal advocacy and upholding the rule of law.”
In his remarks, Mr. Taimur expressed deep gratitude for the recognition. “It is a great honour to receive this award from the Pakistan Embassy. I dedicate this to my clients, my team, and the legal community that inspires me every day to serve with integrity,” he stated.
Beyond litigation, Mr. Taimur has also played a vital role in legal education and mediation. He has served as visiting faculty at NUST and Iqra University, mentoring law students and young professionals. He is also a certified mediator, having completed a 40-hour professional mediation course conducted by the Islamabad Bar Council.
Mr. Asad Taimur continues to represent national and international clients and remains committed to strengthening the legal framework of Pakistan through principled advocacy, policy engagement, and public interest litigation.
