Khar to Lead Pakistan Business Delegation to Rwanda

Islamabad (GNP): Misbah Khar, Advisor to Senate Chairman Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani and Ambassador to the Inter-Parliamentary Speakers’ Conference (ISC), met with Rwanda’s Ambassador to Pakistan to discuss ways to strengthen economic and investment ties between the two countries.

During the meeting, Khar was invited to take part in the Rwanda-Pakistan Investment Forum, set to take place in Kigali from September 23-25, 2026, under the auspices of the Rwanda Development Board and the Rwandan High Commission in Pakistan.

Khar welcomed the invitation and confirmed her intention to attend, saying she would lead a Pakistani business delegation to Rwanda with the aim of exploring fresh opportunities for trade, investment and business-to-business collaboration between the two nations.

She said such platforms offer valuable opportunities for Pakistani businesses and investors to tap into Rwanda’s expanding economic potential, while also helping deepen bilateral ties and strengthen people-to-people and commercial connections.

The forum is expected to bring together business leaders, investors and other stakeholders from both countries to explore investment prospects, potential partnerships and broader avenues for economic cooperation.
