Islamabad –: Roots International Education Network hosted its flagship Global Placement Ceremony – Future Ready Awards 2025 celebrating a national milestone in academic excellence, global university placements, and future-oriented learning. The ceremony paid tribute to high-achieving students from Roots International campuses across Pakistan who secured admissions and scholarships at prestigious universities in the USA, UK, Canada, Ireland, Turkey, Australia, Europe, the Middle East, and other top global destinations.
The distinguished gathering was graced by esteemed government dignitaries, ambassadors, and thought leaders from academia and international organizations. A major highlight was the presence of Ms. Patricia McKellar, Dean of Undergraduate Laws at the University of London, who served as the Guest of Honor. Her remarkable contributions to global legal education and her advocacy for cross-border academic collaboration were recognized with great admiration.

A particularly moving moment came with a powerful address by Amanda Ingram, Director of Exams at the British Council Pakistan, who praised the students’ exceptional achievements and emphasized the enduring partnership between the British Council and Pakistan’s academic institutions.
Barrister Aqeel Malik, Minister of State for Law & Justice, also addressed the gathering, urging students to become catalysts for national development and ambassadors of global leadership.
Adding further prestige to the event was the presence of senior diplomats, including Ms. Fatou Harerimama, High Commissioner of Rwanda; Mohamed Karmiune, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco; Dr. Ramez Alraee, Ambassador of Syria; Rahmat Hindiarta Kusuma, Chargé d’Affaires of Indonesia; Declan Johnston, Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Ireland; Essa Mohammed Alkubaisi, Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Qatar; and Nader Alturk, Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Palestine. Their participation underscored the strengthening of educational and diplomatic ties between Pakistan and their respective nations.

Senior leaders from education and industry, including John Martin Levins AM, MBE, CA (ANZ), Head of Finance at the World Food Programme (WFP), Pakistan; Usman Shaukat, President of the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI); and Faizan Sameer, Founder of Football Factory and Legacy FC—Pakistan’s only UEFA Academy graduate in football management—also attended the event. Their presence reaffirmed the alignment between academic achievement and leadership in global innovation, enterprise, and community impact.
In a heartwarming culmination, award recipients were recognized in the presence of their families, mentors, and faculty members for their exceptional international placements and academic milestones. The event embodied the mission of Roots International Education Network: to cultivate future-ready learners who are globally competitive, socially responsible, and prepared to shape a better world.
