National CERT Launches Summer Internship Program 2026

Islamabad (GNP): National CERT Pakistan is pleased to announce the commencement of its Summer Internship Program 2026, bringing together some of the country’s brightest young minds to contribute to Pakistan’s national cybersecurity mission.

The response to this year’s program was overwhelming, with approximately 50,000 applications received from talented students and graduates across Pakistan. Following a rigorous and merit-based selection process, only around 1% of applicants secured a place, making this one of the most competitive internship programs in the country.

The selected interns will gain hands-on exposure to national-level cybersecurity initiatives, including cyber defense, threat intelligence, digital forensics, governance, risk and compliance (GRC), security operations, research and development, cyber policy, and capacity building. They will work alongside experts at National CERT while contributing to projects that strengthen Pakistan’s cyber resilience.

At National CERT, we remain committed to nurturing the next generation of cybersecurity professionals by providing meaningful learning opportunities, practical experience, and mentorship to help build a secure and digitally resilient Pakistan.

Congratulations to all selected interns, and our sincere appreciation to every applicant for their enthusiasm and interest in serving the nation through cybersecurity. Together, we are building Pakistan’s future cyber workforce.
