Brigham Young University conference unites global leaders

Hawaii, USA. (GNP) : Senator Khalil Tahir Sandhu participated as a keynote speaker at the “Religion and Human Flourishing: Building Pathways to Peaceful Societies in South Asia” conference, organized under the Religious Freedom and Human Dignity Initiative, at Brigham Young University–Hawaii, USA.

The conference brought together political leaders from multiple countries, scholars, faith leaders, and social activists from across the world to discuss pathways toward peaceful and inclusive societies.

He was accompanied by Shahid Rehmat, Executive Director of the Youth Development Foundation, who also participated as a speaker.

Senator highlighted Pakistan’s important role in promoting regional peace and stability. He appreciated the leadership of Shehbaz Sharif, Prime Minister of Pakistan.

He also shared how the Government of Pakistan is undertaking concrete initiatives to improve the conditions and protection of religious minorities, emphasizing ongoing efforts toward inclusion, interfaith harmony, and equal rights for all citizens.
