93 stranded Pakistani nationals in Sudan arrived at Islamabad

Islamabad, 01 May 2023 ( GNP): On Monday, 93 Pakistani nationals who were stranded in Sudan due to the ongoing conflict between the Sudanese army and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) were repatriated and arrived at the Islamabad International Airport via PK7Pakis.

The evacuation efforts for Pakistani citizens from Sudan have continued, with 573 citizens safely evacuated so far through the collaborative efforts of Pakistan and China. This includes the latest batch of 97 individuals who arrived at the Jinnah International Airport in Karachi via Jeddah on a Pakistan Air Force C-130 aircraft this morning.
