45,000 Google scholarships for Pakistani students this year

Karachi, 28 May, 2023 (GNP): Google announced to give 45,000 scholarships to Pakistani Students this year. Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication, Syed Aminul Haq, has reported that the government has concluded an agreement with Google for 45,000 scholarships for Pakistani students. It is hoped that the number of scholarships will increase to 450,000 next year.

The scholarships will be accessible to students pursuing degrees in software engineering, design, and other STEM fields.

“We are focused on assisting  Pakistani Students with fostering the abilities they need to prevail in the advanced economy,” said Syed Aminul Haq, VP of Google for Pakistan.

“These scholarships will give a genuinely necessary lift to the country’s tech ability pool and assist with making a more prosperous future for Pakistan,” he added.

The scholarships will cover additional costs, books, and everyday costs. Additionally, Google will give students admittance to its internet gaining assets and mentorship from its workers.

“This is an incredible chance for Pakistani Students to get the schooling and preparation they need to seek after their fantasies,” said Aminul Haq, Minister of Information Technology and Telecommunication.

Applications for the scholarships are now open. To apply, students should be Pakistani residents and have a  base CGPA of 3.0.

Scholarships will be granted in light of scholarly legitimacy, financial need, and exhibited interest in innovation.
