Islamabad :- Young Journalists Association (YJA) has extended warm and sincere congratulations to the newly elected cabinet of the National Press Club Islamabad following the successful completion of the press club elections.
In a joint statement, the leadership of the association congratulated the newly elected President Abdul Razzaq Sial, Secretary Rao Furqan, Finance Secretary Abid Abbasi, along with the Vice Presidents and Joint Secretaries, on securing the confidence of the journalist community and achieving success in the elections.
The association expressed optimism that the newly elected leadership will work with professionalism, integrity, and a spirit of unity to address the challenges faced by journalists. The statement emphasized the importance of setting aside personal differences and focusing on collective efforts to resolve the issues confronting media professionals, particularly those working in the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
The leadership further stated that the National Press Club Islamabad holds a pivotal position in representing the voice of journalists and safeguarding their professional rights. It is hoped that the new cabinet will take practical and constructive steps to strengthen the institution, promote ethical journalism, and ensure a supportive and inclusive environment for both senior and emerging journalists.
This congratulatory message was jointly issued by Chairman Malik Zubair Awan, President Muhammad Yousaf Khan, along with other office bearers of the Young Journalists Association.
