NA Speaker Pays rich tribute to  newly elected Speaker of Bangladesh

Islamabad (GNP) :- Speaker  National Assembly  Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, has warmly  felicitated the newly elected unanimous Speaker of the Parliament of Bangladesh, Major (R) Hafiz Uddin Ahmed, on his unopposed election, describing it as a reflection of his political stature and national leadership.

It is worth mentioning that Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq had sent a felicitation  message along with a formal invitation to visit Pakistan  after Major Hafiz Uddin Ahmed’s election as Speaker of the Bangladeshi Parliament. Subsequently, both Speakers also held a telephone conversation in which the newly elected Bangladeshi Speaker expressed his gratitude to the Speaker National Assembly Sardaf Ayaz Sadiq for being among the first to convey congratulations on his successful election.

During the conversation, the two leaders deliberated upon various aspects of further strengthening parliamentary relations between Pakistan and Bangladesh. Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to promoting parliamentary cooperation, enhancing institutional linkages, and encouraging the exchange of experiences between the two legislatures.

Both dignitaries also exchanged views on matters of mutual interest, regional cooperation, and the promotion of parliamentary diplomacy. Speaker  National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq  expressed the hope that enhanced interaction between the two parliaments would further strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.

Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has also extended a formal invitation to Major (R) Hafiz Uddin Ahmed to visit Pakistan, stating that the Parliament and people of Pakistan would warmly welcome his visit. The Bangladeshi Speaker graciously accepted the invitation and expressed his intention to visit Pakistan in the near future.

Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq also conveyed his best wishes to the newly elected Speaker of Bangladesh and prayed for his continued success in fulfilling his responsibilities.
