Islamabad : House Business Advisory Committee (HBAC) of the Senate met at the Parliament House. The Committee, presided over by Chairman Senate, Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, discussed in detail the legislative business to be transacted during the 359th Session of the Senate.
Besides legislative business, the session would take up discussion on the current situation of important national and international issues. The HBAC decided that the current session is likely to continue till 3rd March, 2026.
The meeting was attended by Senator Raja Nasir Abbas, Leader of the Opposition, Senator Rana Sanaullah Khan, Senator Sherry Rehman, Senator Manzoor Ahmad, Senator Haji Hidayatullah Khan, Senator Kamran Murtaza, Senator Amir Walli ud Din Chishti, Senator Kamil Ali Agha, Minister for Law & Justice Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar, Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, and Secretary Senate Syed Hasnain Haider.
The Secretary Senate briefed the Committee about the legislative business to be transacted during the current session.
