Islamabad :- Chairman Senate of Pakistan, Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, has strongly condemned the terrorist attack carried out by Fitna Al-Khawarij against a security forces convoy in Bannu.
The Chairman Senate paid tribute to the unwavering courage and sacrifices of the Pakistan Army and other law enforcement agencies, emphasizing that their contributions to safeguarding the sovereignty and security of the nation are unforgettable. He reaffirmed that the entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with its armed forces in the fight against terrorism.
Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani reiterated that decisive and effective operations against terrorist elements will continue until the complete eradication of militancy. He noted that the prompt and professional response by security forces resulted in the elimination of several terrorists, demonstrating their preparedness and resolve to counter all threats to national security.
Chairman Senate expressed his heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the families of the martyred Lieutenant Colonel Shehzada Gulfraz and Sepoy Karamat Shah. He prayed for the elevation of the martyrs’ ranks and for patience and strength for their bereaved families.
He concluded by stating that the nation takes immense pride in the bravery, professionalism, and patriotism of its young soldiers, and reaffirmed that Pakistan will continue its determined struggle to eliminate terrorism and ensure lasting peace and stability.
