Bagla girls primary school relocation work underway

Abbottabad: The building of Government Girls Primary School Bagla, Union Council Patan Kalan, District Abbottabad, was completely destroyed in the devastating earthquake of 2005. For the past 21 years, young girls have been forced to continue their education either in tents or under the open sky. This situation not only affected the academic environment but also caused serious concern among parents.

Finally, due to the continuous efforts of the local community, the personal interest of Ms. Ayesha Saeed, District Education Officer (Female) Abbottabad, and the support of the Education Department, practical work to shift the school to a rented building commenced. This step marks an important milestone towards providing the girls of the area with a safe, dignified, and improved learning environment.

Representatives of the local community stated that since school holidays are currently underway, necessary facilities and arrangements in the new building will, God willing, be completed by 1 March through mutual cooperation, so that the girls can resume their education in a better environment without interruption.
