UPPER DIR : A ceremony and walk were organized by District Administration Upper Dir on Kashmir Solidarity Day. The event was held at Deputy Commissioner Office, led by Additional Deputy Commissioner Relief & HR, Sher Ali Khan.
Officials, citizens, civil society representatives, and media personnel attended. The event started with the national anthem and a minute’s silence for Kashmiri martyrs.
Participants formed a human chain to show solidarity with Kashmiris. A rally was held from DC Office to Padoo Pul, with participants chanting slogans in support of Kashmir.
Additional DC Sher Ali Khan said Pakistan will never leave Kashmiri brothers and sisters alone. The issue should be resolved according to UN resolutions, and Kashmiris should be given their right to self-determination.
The event ended with a special prayer for the freedom, security, and stability of Kashmiris and Pakistan
