
Islamabad : UNFPA Deputy Representative Dr. Gulnara Kadyrkulova conducted an important visit to the HANDS-managed Misali Worker Centers in Satra Meel and Hamdani Town, and the Rural Health Center Tarlai. On this occasion, she took a detailed review of the ongoing measures for women’s reproductive health, family planning, and the prevention of Gender-Based Violence (GBV).
Dr. Gulnara expressed deep interest in the Misali Workers’ ‘BiB Model’ (Business Model), which is empowering women economically. During conversation with local women, she expressed satisfaction with the health facilities being provided at the doorstep.
In this visit, Dr. Jamil and Dr. Urooj from the UNFPA team, while Dr. Sarwat, Dr. Zafar, and Executive Manager Sumera from the HANDS side, were also accompanying her. Dr. Gulnara, while appreciating the joint efforts of both teams, declared this project an excellent example for the welfare and well-being of women.
