Islamabad : Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, has strongly condemned the bomb blast targeting an armored vehicle on Gomal Bazaar Road in District Tank.
The Chairman Senate expressed profound grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives.
He extended heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the bereaved families and paid rich tribute to the professional services and supreme sacrifices of the martyred police personnel. He stated that the nation will always remember and honor the sacrifices rendered by the brave police personnel in the line of duty.
Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani emphasized that such cowardly acts of terrorism cannot weaken the resolve and morale of the nation. He reiterated that the entire nation stands united against terrorism and remains shoulder to shoulder with the security forces in their unwavering efforts to eradicate this menace.
The Chairman Senate prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls. He also prayed for patience and strength for the bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss.
