Speaker Offers Fateha at the Residence of Late Agha Siraj Khan Durrani
Islamabad : Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq paid visits to inquire after the health of Members National Assembly, Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah and Mr. Nauman Islam Shaikh, and later visited the residence of former Speaker Sindh Assembly, Late Agha Siraj Khan Durrani, to offer Fateha and express condolences to the bereaved family.
Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq visited the residence of Member National Assembly, Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah to inquire about his health. He extended his best wishes and prayed to Allah Almighty for his speedy recovery. Expressing hope for his early and complete recovery, NA Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said that Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah would soon resume his active role in the proceedings of the National Assembly. Syed Khurshed Ahmed Shah thanked the NA Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq for his kind visit.
Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq also visited the residence of Member National Assembly, Nauman Islam Shaikh, to inquire after his health. Chief Whip of the Pakistan People’s Party and MNA, Ijaz Hussain Jakhrani, was also present on the occasion. He conveyed his warm wishes and offered prayers to Allah Almighty for the early and complete recovery of Nauman Islam Shaikh, expressing hope that he would soon return in good health to continue his role in the proceedings of the National Assembly. Nauman Islam Shaikh expressed his gratitude to Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq for the visit and kind sentiments.
Later on , Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq also visited the residence of former Speaker Sindh Assembly and senior politician, Late Agha Siraj Khan Durrani, and met with his son, Agha Shahbaz Khan Durrani, to offer his heartfelt condolences. He paid rich tribute to the late leader’s political and democratic services, stating that his role as Speaker Sindh Assembly was exemplary and that he conducted the proceedings of the House with impartiality and justice.
The NA Speaker prayed to Allah Almighty to grant the late Agha Siraj Khan Durrani a place in Jannat-ul-Firdous and to bestow patience and fortitude upon his son and the bereaved family.
