Lahore : Chairman Senate, Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani, met Makhdum Syed Ahmed Mahmood at his residence. Syed Ali Qasim Gilani and Makhdum Syed Murtaza Mahmud, MNA, were also present during the meeting.
The participants discussed the prevailing political situation, issues faced by the people of South Punjab, regional development priorities, the post-flood rehabilitation process, and challenges related to smog and environmental impacts. Ongoing and future development initiatives aimed at improving public welfare in the region also came under discussion.
Chairman Senate reaffirmed his commitment to supporting measures that promote equitable development and address the socio-economic needs of South Punjab.
